USPS Postage Increase in July, 2025

Another postage increase from the USPS was implemented July 13, 2025. 

Below are the estimated increase rates coming our way:

• First-Class Mail Forever Stamp: 73 cents to 78 cents.
• Domestic Postcards: 56 cents to 62 cents.
• International Postcards & Letters (1 oz): $1.65 to $1.70.
• Additional Ounce (single-piece letters): 28 cents to 29 cents.
• Postal Insurance: A 12% reduction in cost.

According to the Data & Marketing Association (DMA):

• Personalized direct mail (using names, tailored offers, variable data printing) sees response rates of 4–6% on average.
• Static or non-personalized mail (generic content, no targeting) tends to yield 1–2% response rates.
• That means personalized mail can be 2 to 3 times more effective than static mail. The increased engagement stems from relevance—when recipients see content that feels tailored to them, they’re more likely to act.
